Then putting it bluntly, you need to get trained. Don’t look for easy cheap options though as they can end costing you much more in the long run.

Are you a Montessori School? The above and more applies! Make sure now than ever that you are Montessori just not by name alone. Our education sector needs to change. Be part of the solution not the problem.

This is how to begin making sure you are giving your students a Montessori education and not just an empty signboard affirmation:-

1. Be clear and knowledgeable about the Montessori Method. You cannot run a Montessori school if you do not have Montessori Training.

2. Be prepared to kit up your school appropriately with Montessori Materials. I am not saying you have to break the bank, but materials are an essential part of the method. I have done this and continue to do this on a tight budget You can too.

3. Train your teachers. They need to know the method and how to present the Montessori materials in order to function correctly in the setting you have provided

As you can see in order to achieve the running of great Montessori schools, training and Montessori materials are needed. I was going to list all the features of of the Montessori settings, but you can find that list all around us. The issue is this, without training one has no way of knowing how to and why these features are essential to Montessori.
