How do you use your Mobile phone?
Here are five apps for teachers (getting started)

1. Google drive: Google Drive is a file storage and synchronization service developed by Google. Launched on April 24, 2012, Google Drive allows users to store files in the cloud, synchronize files across devices, and share files. In addition to a website, Google Drive offers apps with offline capabilities for Windows and Mac OS computers, and Android and iOS smartphone and tablets. Google Drive encompasses Google Docs, Sheets and Slides, an office suite that permits collaborative editing of documents, spreadsheets, presentations, drawings, forms, and more. Files created and edited through the office suite are saved in Google Drive. You can open your ppt slides, word documents, excel, and even PDF files with your google drive. Your ppt slides can be used with the interactive board if you have any or attached to a television using the HTML cord. In all you need Google drive to open these documents.
2. Pinterest : for creative ideas in crafts, indoor and outdoor activities, recipes, games and creative ideas. Save creative ideas from around the web with the official Pinterest Save button for your browser. Just click the Pinterest button next time you find something interesting that you want to save for later.
3.Google Docs: More than letters and words Google Docs brings your documents to life with smart editing and styling tools to help you easily format text and paragraphs. Choose from hundreds of fonts, add links, images, and drawings. All for free. There are templates you can use to make your own document, you can access, create and edit your document anywhere. You can share your document with friends and colleagues It’s a handy tool for educators, most times you work with different files you get online or an eBook you bought or downloaded, you need an effective app that makes you access the.
4.Google slides: you can make presentations using google slides,
5.kahoot: this is not an app..it’s online based. Kahoot! is a free games based learning platform for teachers of awesome and classroom superheroes. Play, learn, have fun and celebrate together! This platform makes you create multiple questions for your children to play. It can be in any subject. It is always fun when you access your children using games.
This might be a little bit challenging for schools who are not tech savvy. It’s like a who wants to be a millionaire online game.
